Strength of Fiber Posts with Experimental TiO2 and ZrO2 Particle Bonding—An SEM, EDX, Rheometric and Push-Out Strength Study

The present study aimed to prepare experimental adhesives (EAs): 5 wt.% titanium dioxide (TiO2) adhesive; and zirconium oxide (ZrO2) analyze their impact on bond integrity of fiber posts root dentin, viscosity. EA was composed of: bisphenol A glycol dimethacrylate (BisGMA); triethylene (TEGDMA); 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA); ethyl 4-dimethylamino benzoate camphorquinone. TiO2 ZrO2 particles were individually incorporated into the at wt.%, form two groups (5% 5% ZrO2). adhesives, with particles, characterized using scanning electron microscopy (SEM) energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy. bonded interface evaluated for adhesive–dentin penetration interface, SEM. adhesive (EA, ZrO2) analyzed rheology push-out strength post dentin. Data analysis variance hoc comparison. Both had irregular, non-uniform shapes. EDX mapping showed elemental presence Ti (TiO2), Zr oxygen in formulated adhesives. a decrease viscosity, compared EA. Bond among statistically comparable (p > 0.05), but higher than control group (10.57 ± 1.45 MPa) < 0.05).
